About Kim M. Kerr, Founder & Principal
Kim M. Kerr is a transformational leader and connector whose work spans corporate, nonprofit, academic, and faith-based spaces. For over 30 years, she has empowered individuals and organizations to navigate change, build trust, and transform through life’s difficult seasons.
She is the founder of Grief Relief Chicago, a movement focused on emotional recovery and healing from loss, and iLEAD Now, an empowerment platform that equips leaders, teams, and care professionals through coaching, wellness, and Relationship Intelligence (RQ).
Kim is a certified facilitator of Change Leadership, the Grief Recovery Method®, Relationship Intelligence (SDI 2.0), and Wholistic Wellness Coaching.
Kim’s work is not just rooted in credentials—it flows from her calling. She leads with integrity, insight, and faith, creating safe spaces for individuals and teams to grow and live empowered—spirit, soul, and body.
She has served as a mentor, consultant, and speaker for churches, women’s ministries, and grassroots organizations reaching the underserved. From Teen Living Programs, Family Cares Mission, and Target Area in Chicago to prayer ministries and community projects across the U.S., Caribbean, South Africa, and Asia, Kim has helped build the capacity of emerging, established, and elder leaders.
In the professional realm, Kim has led national and global initiatives in workforce strategy, change management, and organizational development for companies including BASF, Xerox, Meta, Capgemini, and Accenture. Her leadership spans government, healthcare, education, and manufacturing—always bringing people-centered solutions to every environment.
Academically, Kim has been developed in Biochemistry (City Colleges of Chicago), Communication (Governors State & Northwestern University), and Organizational Leadership & Global Change (Pepperdine University). She is currently completing her doctoral research on Empathic Leadership Competencies in Caregiving, with a focus on how relational trust impacts health outcomes and the safety of older adults navigating complex healthcare systems.
A native of Chicago, Kim continues to live and serve in the city she loves—gratefully serving as the primary caregiver for her aging parents while championing equity, healing, and purpose in every space she enters.
Kim M. Kerr is the Founder and Principal of iLEAD Now. As a scholar-practitioner and communications strategist, she integrates evidence-based research with real-world practice. Kim focuses her efforts on building leaders and teams from the inside out—strengthening culture, increasing effectiveness, and delivering sustainable impact.
